Friday 1st July saw all of the Laird come together at HQ in Heswall for our annual staff summer meeting & party.
After a morning of expert witness discussion, training & debates, everyone was split into teams & given an ‘Apprentice’ style set of items & clues to find their way around various Heswall businesses. By 4pm the final destination was revealed by all teams coming together to form the word Paradox, where we met for a final couple of keynote talks, discussion & awards. The items purchased were given as prizes, with the remainder being offered to the Candice Colley charity which we’re supporting this year.
Teams had to decide names, assign project managers, accountants, navigators, social media managers, etc & liaise with local businesses to purchase various items & reveal clues. Several took to Twitter & set up their own team accounts, whilst others blasted Facebook with photos of everything from wine to firemen!

After some food & drink, the party moved to Liverpool, where those with stamina danced the night away until the early hours in Maya.
Huge thank you to everyone who took part & helped organise the entire day – looking forward to the Winter one now…
