Laird take some of their staff on the annual ski trip to La Clusaz!
With nearly a metre and a half of snow dumped the day before we arrived we were greeted by bright sunshine and a weather forecast skiers always hope to see!
The antics began on the Thursday evening as they do every year, bars set on fire, the conga line through the bar and far too many shots to count. With many a sore head on the Friday the whole team took to the slopes with a select few enjoying the local bars from the early hours!
With a few injuries on the Friday, almost loosing one to a wipe out and suspected broken collar bone. With some TLC everyone took back to the slopes on the Saturday following a rather chilled Friday evening in comparison to the Thursday!
We all enjoyed some beautiful lunches with some incredible views, even those not skiing or snowboarding managed to clamber up the slopes to join in the apres ski!
Saturday night was one to remember, we where all a bit excited to hear it was the Full Moon Party which would see the slopes lit up with late night skiers enjoying the slopes until the early hours! Unfortunately nobody told us the ski lifts weren’t open until 9pm so our 8pm table booking half way up the slopes was missed. This unfortunately led to many of us enjoying a liquid dinner and one too many tequilas!
With sore heads on the Sunday we all made our way back to rainy Liverpool but with many memories and sore cheeks from smiling and laughing for the entire weekend. All in all, a fabulous weekend spent with some amazing people!
We are all so lucky to be able to enjoy this as a team and will always be grateful to Nik for allowing us and facilitating us to be able to do this!
Heres to next year!
