A Week of Collaboration with Our Scottish Engineer Team
This week we welcomed our remote VDA team from Scotland for an immersive week of collaboration, learning, and innovation.
As a company that values the strength of our team, this initiative marked a significant step towards strengthening our bonds and adopting new approaches to better serve our clients.
Having our Scot-based team physically present in our offices created a palpable sense of unity. The virtual meetings and emails were replaced with face-to-face conversations, laughter, and genuine friendship.
Innovation is in our DNA, and the synergy created during this week fuelled the adoption of new approaches. The blend of diverse experiences sparked fresh ideas, leading to spontaneous discussions and brainstorming sessions that will undoubtedly shape the future of Laird Assessors. We’re eager to implement these innovative approaches to better serve our clients and stay at the forefront of our industry.
One of our senior Scottish engineers, Ray, said ‘I feel like I have grown closer to the team and have created a lot more of a friendship with others, including the ones that we have maybe had our differences with. Being here has helped me to get different views on people’s thoughts to repair processes etc.’
And one of our Scottish engineers Stuart stated that ‘Being back in the office has given us the opportunity to adopt new approaches in how we handle different tasks. By observing and learning from our co-workers diverse skill sets and methods, we are constantly improving our own approaches and expanding our knowledge. Overall, coming down to the work office has truly revitalised our team and helped us thrive in our work by effectively addressing issues, reigniting collaboration, and adopting fresh perspectives.’
The positive impact on team building, training effectiveness, and the adoption of new approaches was tangible. As we navigate the ever-evolving business landscape, we’re more confident than ever in our ability to adapt, innovate, and deliver exceptional service to our clients.
Our team is not just a collection of individuals; we are a cohesive unit, united in purpose and committed to achieving excellence together.
